Iran: Iran says it is “firmly determined” to save nuclear deal – Times of India

TEHRAN: Iran is “firmly determined” to reach an agreement with the major powers on the bailout of its 2015 nuclear deal when talks resume Monday in Vienna, said the spokesperson for his foreign ministry.
“The delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran is in Vienna with the firm determination to reach an agreement and looks forward to fruitful talks,” said Mr. Khatibzadeh told reporters.
“The government has shown its will and its seriousness by sending a quality team known to all. If the other party shows the same will, we will be on the right track to reaching an agreement.
According to local media, the Iranian delegation led by the Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri has been significantly expanded for the new round of negotiations.
“If the United States arrives in Vienna with the determination to break the deadlock and overcome the issues on which we did not agree in previous rounds, the path of dialogue will certainly be easier, “said the spokesperson.
Talks, suspended since June, are due to resume between Iran and Britain, China, France, Germany and Russia, with the aim of repairing the Iranian nuclear deal concluded in 2015.
The United States, which under the then President Donald trump unilaterally left the agreement in 2018, is expected to participate indirectly in the talks.
